I’m a trained mountaineer from the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Darjeeling, a Certified Wilderness First Aid Responder from Hanifel Center, Mussoorie, and I have spent the last 10 years leading and operating treks in the Himalayas.
Over the years, I have worked as a trek leader and operations manager with renowned trekking companies, guiding trekkers across some of the most beautiful and challenging Himalayan trails. My experience includes planning expeditions, managing logistics, ensuring trekker safety, and helping people experience the mountains in a responsible and meaningful way.
But beyond the professional experience, my connection with the mountains is deeply personal.
The Himalayas have been my classroom, my workplace, and my biggest source of inspiration.
During my years of leading treks, I noticed that many trekkers — especially beginners — struggle to find clear, practical, and trustworthy information about trekking.
Most guides online either lack real field experience or don’t answer the practical questions trekkers have before a trip.
So I created Hike Brothers to solve that problem.
This platform is built to share real insights from someone who has spent years working and trekking in the Himalayas. My goal is to make trekking information simple, practical, and reliable for anyone who wants to explore the mountains.
